Our Barre class fuses ballet, Pilates, and strength training to sculpt your body and improve your flexibility. This low-impact, high-intensity workout targets your muscles, especially in your core, legs, and arms. You'll use the barre for support as you perform a series of small, precise movements that will challenge your muscles in new ways.
What to expect:
A full-body workout that targets every muscle group
A focus on proper alignment and technique
A combination of isometric holds and dynamic movements
A challenging and invigorating workout that will leave you feeling strong and toned
Matwork is the magic of Pilates. The work you do in a mat class will filter into your daily activities and any other fitness modality you participate in. A mat class will help build the strength and endurance of your abdominals. That is why many Physiotherapists, chiropractors and Doctors recommend Pilates to help with back pain, improve mobility in your joints and improve your balance.
If you want more out of your Reformer experience, you should be doing matwork at least once a week.
This class blends the principles of Pilates with the benefits of group motivation and personalized attention. Led by a certified instructor, the session focuses on strength, flexibility, core stability, and muscle toning, while using the resistance provided by the reformer to intensify the workout.
